Compare(/ing). We all do this, or have done it at some point in our lives: We Compare ourselves to others and gauge (judge) ourselves based on what we observe the other person doing. If this was simply an observation, that would be one thing, but in comparing ourselves to others, we often end up judging ourselves (-there’s no one worse to judge). Focus On Your Own Race, the way to step your game up isn’t by not worrying about what the other person is doing because you can’t control the other person, you only have control over yourself. Its like running a relay race, the energy it will take you to look back and see where the other person is will take energy away from you. And when they’re too close to you, it will scare you. Don’t waste your time in the race looking back to see where the other person is or what the other person is doing, It’s not about the other person, It’s about YOU [what can you do?] You really need to run that race as hard as you can. Don’t be discouraged or distracted, Pace yourself and give it everything you have, all the time, for yourself.
